It's Friday? Did I say "daily blog?" Woops?

Well, here's my week, in a nutshell. It's hard to write when nothing happens! Work was busy, busy. I decided that I really like that. I enjoy being "work" busy again, I feel a lot more like an adult. When I used to work at the Lab, it was a whole lot of sitting around, playing on the computer and chatting on msn. Sure, I had to answer the phone and deal with customers on occasion, but my brother did the vast majority of the work. I just showed up to put in an hour or two of cutting a day and handle the incoming/outgoing orders. Now, I am doing everything I used to do, plus everything my brother used to do. AND doing it in 5 hours a day instead of 8! Much fun. It should be getting busier, even, because we started advertising on google! If you put in any of a number of keywords, our ad will come up on the side.

I quit drinking diet coke, which has been pretty much the only liquid I ever put into my body until I started WW, and even after, I MOSTLY drank diet coke. More diet coke than water, anyway. The doctor wanted me to switch to DC Splenda, and that was good for a few weeks, but it started making me sick to my stomach. I don't remember which day I quit, but it was either Monday or Tuesday. We'll see if that helps at all with my weight loss. I certainly feel better.

I also started bringing carrots and grapes to work for snack, after I forgot lunch early in the week and drove to McDonalds after I got off because I was so starving. I stayed within my points for the day, but I hated to eat that grease. Having healthy snacks to eat has helped me a ton this week, I can tell the difference in the way my body is working.

John went to Montana for the weekend, but he just called and said he's coming back home because the radio just said they were going to get 1-2 FEET, yes, feet... of snow tomorrow. I'm really glad he's coming home. I don't like being here alone, just me and Chloe. It's going to snow here, too, I think, but not that much!
